What Playnook is

Playnook is an activity planning and observation tool for parents of children ages 2 to 12. It suggests home activities, lets you log engagement, and shows you patterns over time.

What Playnook is not

Playnook is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or educational advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it never replaces the judgment of qualified professionals or your own judgment as a parent. Activity suggestions are general ideas; you decide what is safe and suitable for your child, and you supervise all activities.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You may close your account at any time from the app, which deletes your data as described in the privacy policy.

Subscriptions

Playnook is free to start. Premium is $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year, billed through the App Store or Google Play. Trials convert to paid unless canceled before the trial ends. Cancel anytime through your store account; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the store's refund policies.

Your content

Notes, photos, and logs are yours. You give us only the limited license needed to store and display them back to you and to anyone you explicitly share them with.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to break or overload it, no reselling it, and no scraping other users' data (there is none to scrape, but still).

Liability

Playnook is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

If we change these terms in any meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Playnook after that means you accept the new terms.
